Introduction

Portrait

The unit Schellenberg was re-established 1970 by Leo Büchel after a few dormant years. Its constant values are cosmopolitanism, a close affinity to nature and solidarity. Since 2006, they have their own scout home that is both in the centre of the village and close to the forest.

A much-appreciated tradition of the unit Schellenberg is the field mass on St. George's day, after which the scout promise ceremony takes place. Other annual highlight are the children shrove party that they organise in the local gym and the summer camp.
