Concept

Every two years our team organises a training week for leaders, where they offer introduction courses for youth sports and camp leaders. A mix of theory and practice prepare the participants for their duty. The curriculum is based on the camp sport/trekking manual from Jugend+Sport (J+S).

Participants have to pass the preliminary test to enter the training week. It requires knowledge in the following topics:

  • first aid
  • scouting technique
  • orientation
  • nature and environment

The successful conclusion of the trainig week depends both on know-how and social competence. Our training team consists of J+S experts that are able to qualify leaders thanks to their qualification.

Further education

In the gap years without a training week the retraining takes place. This course extends the qualification as J+S leaders. Our training team offers one out of seven different modules each time:

•prevention
•water activities
•mountain activities
•games and sport
•biking and skating
•winter activites
•scouting technique

J+S leaders have to attend a retraing every two years to extend their qualification. First rank leaders should also complete the kids course besides youth sports. After passing the camp leader course you can become a J+S expert and be part of our training team.  For our unit coaches we recommend courses from the Liechtenstein sport department, because there are some unique characteristics for organizations from Liechtenstein. As in all cases it is possible to visit J+S courses in Switzerland also.
